A Nice Triple !
Starting in September Giant King Salmon that get in the 30 lb. range move up river to spawn. This great fishery lasts until the end of October. Then in Nov. some of the finest steelhead angling in the North America starts, with fish that average 8-10 lbs. and get up to 20 lbs. The Steelhead Trout are followed by Lake Trout and Brown Trout that can get even bigger, 20 lb. Lake Trout are not uncommon. Many of these fish stack up at the mouth of the river and Lake Ontario, this area is called the Niagara bar. This season peaks in April with Coho Salmon, Lakers and Browns everywhere feeding on bait. We drift for all these fish with light tackle using eggs, minnows and lures for bait.

Smallmouth Bass, Our Bass season is one of the best in the country. Lake Erie and the Niagara river have fish over 20” and multiple fish over 5 lbs are not uncommon. The Bass season starts in May, with Sept. being my favorite month. This is just a great fishery !

Perch and Walleye, Erie is also a great Perch fishing lake ! Late May and June are the best time to catch these great tasting fish. Perch trips run from 7:00 – Noon or unless you catch

When the water warms up and summer arrives the Walleye fishing turns on with July being the best time for Lake Erie Walleyes. Walleye and Perch charters are from the NFTA small boat harbor in buffalo where the fish cleaning station is located.
